Beloved Community Conference 2017

Beloved –

Join us next weekend as we focus on healing-centered organizing with our dear brother, Dr. Rami Nashashibi, founder and director of the Inner-City Muslim Action Network. We will gain historical context on how the melancholy of MLK impacted his community work from the research of Pastor Don Darius Butler and focus on how we might care for ourselves in the struggle with a somatics and self-care session led by Kris Lewis.

Many throughout the nation have acclaimed Rami’s work. Last month, Rami was named a MacArthur Genius Fellow for his transformative, faith-inspired organizing among marginalized communities in Chicago.
